This is a fun and creative way to grow gourmet mushrooms in your own kitchen. I developed these kits as a way for people to learn a little more about growing mushrooms than your standard mushroom kits will teach you, and no special equipment is required. This kit includes a 5mL mushroom culture, instructions, a glossary of mycology terms, and a fungi word search.

The instructions cover two ways of growing them - the first way being to grow them in a bag of brown rice on your kitchen counter, the second way is to grow them in a bucket of straw. There is enough culture included to try both methods. Regardless of your growing medium of choice, these are fascinating to grow and delightful to cook with.
